Here’s the thing, if your consistently building your personal training business based on the latest discount of the week or month, you will not build a profitable business.
You may get busy and make okay income, but you’ll be forever chasing your tail, as clients will think subconsciously that you operate based on discounts and you begin to be known as the discount trainer.
Avoid posting and promoting discounts in your marketing and shift to providing impeccable value.
Now this does depend on what your selling, your services are marketed different than how you sell an online course.
Take a quick study on the most successful brands: Apple, Lululemon, BMW, Virgin, all these brands don’t promote discounts, the perception is of high quality, not something that's on sale for the week...
What is a mindset? Your mindset is the sum of your knowledge, including beliefs and thoughts about the world and yourself in it. It is your filter for the information you get in and put out. So it determines how you receive and react information. It’s often used for a specific part in your life, as in “the mindset of an entrepreneur” or “the growth mindset”. And having the right mindset for what you go for, is often the biggest factor.
Developing the right mindset is the way of learning something new and stripping out the most relevant information. Then you develop the beliefs that are most helpful for where you want to go or how you want to be. This belief-system is then your mindset. You want to use your mindset to make a positive change. That’s why your beliefs don’t necessarily have to reflect your current reality. But the reality you believe in should be possible.
We all know how important it is to have a strict schedule. It doesn’t matter in what niche you are in, but the schedule is everything. If you want to grow and succeed, you need to have a plan for it!
Today I want to talk with you about one very common mistake personal trainers make. They all start booking their clients without a proper schedule or plan. In most cases they throw clients in where ever their client can and then waste precious hours a day, thinking that this is the best approach as they don't want to loss their client. You can’t go backward. You need to build first and book later. You need to make an ideal schedule to really maximize your time, freedom and energy.

Had a walk with my little girl recently and came back with many insights that started to flood me around things I've learned in being a new dad. Normally I'm sharing business, mindset or performance strategies, but this time I'm going personal.

Lesson One - Business taught me allot over the years and still does, but NOTHING like being a father. First lesson is around COMMITMENT.
